About

I created this blog in 2010 as a mother of a teenage daughter in high school who was beginning the college search. This blog chronicles our journey as a family as we visited colleges and debated the merits of each. In this space you will find my impressions of the colleges we visited, photographs we took, and posts about my feelings as a parent going through this rite of passage. You will also find guest blogs from other parents undergoing the same journey. I hope readers may find our experiences helpful.

I welcome your readership and comments. You can choose to leave a comment publicly here or send me an email at wanglowe[at]hotmail[dot]com. Feel free to subscribe to my blog and tell your friends about it. Many thanks for reading!

I saw Ben’s Facebook promo for your site. I have a daughter who is also a Junior in high school and we are on the same quest. Visited Cornell last August on the hottest day of the year. I am an alum so it was especially interesting for me and boring for my daughter. We live in Princeton and will be doing an overnight trip soon to see Franklyn and Marshall, Gettysberg and maybe a few others on the way. Looking forward to your next posts.
